On the 6th of April 2005 Nsele reached for the stars and managed to grab three of them from the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa (TGCSA).

Nsele Lodge comprises of four tastefully decorated chalets, sleeps eight persons in total, and overlooks our splash pool, where you can cool off in the summer heat with a cocktail or drink of your choice. You can also work on your sun tan on our pool loungers or do some bird watching under the big umbrellas.

Our lounge area has a small library of books for those lazy relaxing days, with a coffee/tea station setup for you.

Three of our units have a “loft” which is made-up in a camp-like setting for children, which comfortably sleeps two children in each unit. This setup has proven to be a great hit amongst the children.

Chalet facilities include:

  • Overhead fans to keep you cool,
  • Thatch roof (grass) which is a natural insulator and keeps you cool during the summer and warm in winter.
  • High quality Restosonic mattresses on wooden beds;
  • 100% cotton linen for the superior feel, with our trademark paw print of the honey badger,
  • The classic romantic feel of the mosquito-net adds to the bush ambiance.
  • Bathrooms in each unit have a shower with hot & cold running water, basin, and flushing toilet facility.
  • 100% Glodina cotton towels are supplied
  • We also provide a high quality shower gel from the Radox brand in the shower for your convenience.

The main entertainment area comprises of an open-air dining room area where you can dine under the African stars, and a boma where the day's stories are told around an open log fire or where you can stargaze.

Our licensed bar area – for our clients only – has a variety of drinks available. If we don’t have your favourite drink in stock we shall do our utmost to get it.

Stephanie’s entertainment area is the cosy kitchen, where ideas are exchanged and big cooking storms take place.

Olaf’s entertainment area consists of the 100% lowveld bush surroundings!
